Cheap and accessible, are the key selling points for this unit. I have one, however found it to have some issues with noise in the mix. Further, it straight-up died on me one day, despite light use for its life (bought new, never toured with it, well cared for, etc).
It was better than nothing, but I am now exploring other brands due to the disappointing experience (and short life).
This is my first hardware mixer, so I can't compare it to other mixers, but it does the job well! One problem I have noticed is that I have two synths and a tape deck and I only have one stereo input left, so I'll probably have to upgrade to a 1202 soon. For now, though, this is a pretty good mixer ^
