Mark used a Fender Classic 50's Precision bass that he refinished himself. It is natural wood, with a maple neck, DiMarzio Split-P pickup (added 2015) and Hipshot Bridge (added 2015). He used it during the Light Me Up era tour (2010-2012) and on the Vans Warped Tour in 2010. He had it altered in February of 2013 (at Ralph's House of Tone in Dover, NH in ) to be strung BEAD and is now only used rarely on low-tuned songs. "I refinished this one myself about two years ago. Nothing like showing your P bass some TLC!" Facebook comment 12/20/2011

moreUsed from 2014 to fall 2016. Seb used this bass when Emily's Army was transitioning into SWMRS. When Drive North released in early 2016, he refinished the body to a black sparkle. In March 2016, he added the Diet Cig sticker. He retired this bass from touring in fall 2016.

My 'go to' bass, modified with Badass II bridge, Lace Sensor Pick-ups, black pick-guard and buffalo bone nut - this bass will give an American P a run for it's money any day...
what do you think of the Lace split single? Never heard one in action and I imagine the Sensors would be really more bass than guitar friendly (they are a little dry in a strat to my ear though the hot golds and chrome domes are growing on me a little)
Here's a link to the model of Lace pickups I'm using: http://www.proaudioland.com/lace-sensor-p-bass-set-black.html (they look like an older version of the current Lace "Man O’ War P Bass" pickups). To my ears they have quite a warm 'vintage' sound but with enough clarity to cut through a band mix...
