Many are put of bye the squire name on the headstock but there is so much more to this guitar. These guitars can stand up against many fender branded guitars. The quality is great and the instrument it's self is amazing and well worthy of a intermediate to lower pro level ranking. The only falling point is the pickups and electrical works which are sadly underwhelming and the soldering jobs especially in the jack which are apt to break. Small problems though compared to the greatness of the instrument it's self.
i got this off craigslist for 200 bucks and I have nothing but praise for this thing. Out of the box, this thing was sounding great. With a setup, this thing not only sounded great, but played perfectly. Nothing to complain about when it comes to this guitar, especially for the price
This guitar beat my longtime MIM standard in a shootout, so I bought it. The pickups have so much clarity and the 12" glossy neck is phenomenal. I love this guitar for the money. It is one of those enjoyments of an instrument that isn't forced due to the price paid for it, it's just such a comfortable guitar to play. Makes you feel at home. I wasn't in the market for a Jazzmaster or a Tele, but classic vibe has me very interested now!
This is probably one of the best "cheap good guitars" because the finish, the hardware and everything is just perfect(in the affordable guitars spectrum)
The Squier Standard Stratocaster is a great playing guitar with a traditional vibe and modern feel. Player-friendly features like a 22-fret Fingerboard and a slimmer neck make for easier playing and choke-free bends. Alnico single-coil pickups provide plenty of punch.
I bought this guitar because I really like It`s SRV design. The finish quality is just amazing! When I plugged it in my amp and selected the 4th position I just heard that classic John Mayer signature tone.
