I have 3 units and every unit is plagued with it's own quirks, if you press cue fast and repeatedly they can go to reverse mode, sometimes they mark random hot cue points and if you stretch too much the pitch bend with master tempo the audio starts to distort, but not everything is bad, the slip function is really fun to play with, takes id3 bpm tags and the auto bpm detection is kinda fast.
Not the best CDJ out there, however packs quite a few functionalities considering how affordable it is. Definitely not something for someone who loves doing some scratching or beat juggling because the platter is extremely tight even with the setting set to the lightest. Would suit a DJ who is purely mixing and beatmatching, they're also pretty light so it's easy to take on the road.
There good, the screen is small though. Cant wait to upgrade to the MDJ-1000's
