Budget bass guitar, initially manufactured in Wales and East Germany in the early 1980s until the Marlin brand was purchased by Hohner and production moved to South Korea in 1989. These South Korean models are labelled as 'Marlin by Hohner'.
My friend sold me this bass second hand for £5. It actually worked really well until it suddenly stopped working so well. I used this bass heavily for about 3 months before it broke. Still use it sometimes to practice unplugged, would never spend money on fixing it. I would totally recommend this instrument to anyone, so long as they are spending less than a fiver on it.
