I use a Maxon OD808 as a clean boost when things need to get really heavy, and an ISP Decimator to gate everything and keep the noise down. Being a big EVH fan I got this because the sound was so amazing and I felt it would well in my pedal setup I would definitely recommend to any VH fan or non VH fan if you want a classic phase 90
Well, tone wise at least LOL. I can't play like EVH nor will I ever be able to. I'm not dedicated enough to practice the 10 hours a day it would require to achieve that, and even then it would still take me 30 years HAHAHA! This pedal is the SH!T though!
If the picture shown is 12 o'clock, then I keep my phase at 1 o'clock. This is my go to pedals for solos. I have nothing to say about this pedal other than amazing. I wish I can describe it but just get it...
