This little bass amp is great for practice and lessons. It also isn't bad for using with an acoustic/electric bass in small jam situations with other acoustic guitar players, like someone's living room, out door patio or even a small coffee shop performance setting.
The amp includes a chromatic tuner which cuts out the speaker. Includes an input for external music source and headphone jack which also cuts out the speaker and allows you to play along with your external music source listening through your headphones to both your bass playing and music source.
For a little 20 watt practice amp it has some versatile worthwhile controls. Low, Mid, and High EQ controls / Volume control with Transtube® distortion boost and Psycho-acoustic low end enhancement. Plus, at only 18 lbs. it isn't a chore to carry around.
I gave mine only 3 stars though as after 39 months the switch for the Psycho-acoustic low end enhancement no longer will stay in the "on" position...it works...I just can't keep it on. I need to have the switch replaced.
