In Santa Cruz, at the show October 24th, one flew past my head, the other landed between the stage and the barricade. It was close enough to see the brand. Upon seeing that, I ran across the link above as well as this photo of 'signature' 5A sticks. The link above suggests he is sponsored, or a spokesperson for Promark.

A good pair of sticks for any drummer

Being a drummers most important tool, it is necessary to have reliable drumsticks. These hickory 5A sticks are very sturdy. They take heavy rim-shots very well without splintering to pieces. Compared to the Vic Firth sticks, they feel a bit more heavy. This is probably because these sticks have a bigger tip, which makes it good sticks for live performances.
