SuperWave P8 is a vst simulation of the old Roland JP8080 that introduced the synth world to supersaws. The 8080 was an early analog modeler, so I don't see any difference between having a real one and a VST other than ease of use if you want to plug it into an amp to move some air. I never owned a JP in the 90s, but I played around with lots of them and this piece of software pretty well nails the sound, particularly the supersaw/detune thing its famous for. Those sounds were a big deal in trance music when I was a young buck. I don't use this a lot, but once in a while it is really fun. Easy to program patches, just like the hardware it simulates. And its free.
