A guitar aimed at hard-rock intermediate players interested in some flexibility, build with very good materials and decent finish. Alder body, Maple/Rosewood neck, Grover tuners, Floyd Rose licensed bridge and Washburn Eliminator pickups (HSH).
Mine is almost 20 years old. I felt the stock pickups lacked character, so I changed them for a Seymour Duncan JB + Jazz set. A huge improvement. I also changed the pots for high quality Gotohs and did some minor scalloping from 14 to 22 fret.
i bought it used and quite cheap (missing strings, a bit damaged, etc.) - having to fix it helped me learn how it works, and there is where i mostly learned and practiced - even considering it’s not the “rolls royce” of the guitars, it’s quite a neat one
