Now, this main seem a bick kinda crap, but you'll see him playing a V like guitar throughout the whole video, by looking at the headstock we can see it is straight, this means it can't be a jackson, gibson or any oher, we take into consideration that these guys were a "Heavy Metal" mock band meaning they wouldn't go for what's nice more what they saw as "Metal". Furthermore Metallica, Megadeth and other thrash metal bands were all the rage in the 1980's (When Bad News was active (They were the band he performed with until their breakup)) by playing the clip frame-by-frame we can see that it has white pickup holders and a flat V body, meaning non of those weird spikey parts, this narrows down the search a lot more, sadly I can not identidy exactly the model but I am sure it is a Dean and this one looks like the one in the video(s) the most so I come to the answer that it is this one, I understand this isn't concrete proof, but hey, it's damn near close. Look at 0:25+ as this is where the camera zooms in showing the guitar best. Also the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wM58YXp2x0 also shows his guitar especially the scene at 3:18+.

1:13 is a good view but you can see them throughout, these were mid 1980's models and Bad News were a mid 1980's band, no real concrete proof it was these amps but there isn't much to go on.
