This bass is visible at 0:25, 2:26 and 3:30 marks in this video. This is a recording of The 1975's performance on Conan 23 July 2013. The bass appears to be a natural finish with a white pickguard. The large font "Fender Precision Bass" headstock decal is indicative of 1970's era Fender instruments, and the thumb rest affixed on the bass side of the pickup, in combination with the white pickguard and natural finish would suggest a production date of late 1973 or 1974. The pickup, based on this video and other images, appears to be an EMG without pole pieces, in place of the original stock Fender pickup, which, on all 1970's models, had pole pieces showing on the pickup.
