As great as any other Electro Harmonix 'Muffs', but with added versatility.
Like most of the Electro Harmonix fuzz pedals, this unit is more than capable of creating a lush fuzz tone that can be easily manipulated to suit your personal desires. The addition of the 'tone' and 'wicker' switches allows extra versatility between recording and live situations that nothing else like it can offer. These functions come in handy as I personally found that the tone I had perfected at practicing and recording volumes was far from the same as that I was left with at gigging volumes. This proved a problem at first, but I soon learnt how to manipulate the pedal to get the sound I wanted.
As always with Electro Harmonix, the build quality is fantastic in most ways and the customer service and warranty terms allow easy problem solving if there issue. On my unit, I managed to break one of the small switches on the face of the unit which was, according to my repair guy, 'a regular occurrence with this sort of pedal'. However Electro Harmonix offered to replace the unit (which I declined as mine was fully repaired soon enough) even after my repair guy had fiddled with it!
I have had no further issues with this pedal and look forward to experimenting with fuzz further.

Whommmmmmm
Mix this with the Micro Pog and this pedal may give you the shits if you hit the brown note.
But I tell you what, so much power behind this guy and that sustain is sweet. Tone wicker for added versatility. The sheer power of it can be temperamental and may produce a tone of unwanted feedback if you don't set it up correctly before play.
Highly recommended ( Think Elephant by Tame Impala)
Great pedal! Small Price
Great pedal! Small Price! I bought it because i wanted something really heavy sounding on my board, but with the ability to make it sound crackling and fuzzy. This one does the trick. Just switch the tone or wicker switches for more sound. The only bad thing I can come up with is that when you do switch the tone or wicker, there is a change in the amount of volume as well. Not so good! But I managed to work with it and now it's great :)
Surprizing pedal Fat and biting Sound
Never desapointed by Electronics Harmonics pedals , the only thing is that when you want to register your product the website doesn't want to work properly
Great effect!
It sounds really good. The regulations permit to have a wide range of different distortions.
Great, wild pedal
This is my most recent purchase. It is a wonderful pedal once you get the hang of it, though this can take some time. Finding the right settings where it's not too loud, not too fuzzy (for me at least) takes a little noodling but once you do, it is a great pedal. I use it for boosting my overdrive pedal during solos
Pretty good
A very typical, fuzzy, metal distortion pedal. Great for hard rock and metal guitar. Gets very bass when the tone is up high but otherwise good pedal.

Most dummy friendly fuzz I've found.
I've got my Fuzz Factory. I've got my Tweak Fuzz. I've got my Blues Box. I've got my Ibanez Fuzz.
All of them are amazing.
This one may not be the best, but it's the one I use. I tend to find this pedal is the most even compromise between tone, volume, dynamic response, and character. I rock this guy with the tone disabled and no wicker. I roll back for quick rhythm distortion if I need it, but I typically have this pedal blasting. I use about 20 pedals to build various gain, mod, and delay tones. This pedal allows me to cut through everything and smash a solo into the stratosphere, or to fuzz up the entire room with crazy splurts and spats.
Great pedal. If you find a good one that's used, grab it. If you don't, they're less than $100 for foolproof fuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Big Muff
I use this as my main dirty tone. Probably my favorite pedal.

Old School Fuzz, Full Moon Howl.
This is basically the Big Muff Pi with anger issues. It has all of the same tonal options but the differences all come down to that little 'Tone Wicker' switch. Once it is engaged this thing absolutely howls. This is my go to when I need the dirtiest of dirty sounds.

A Good Kind of Nasty
This effect is definitely one of the most versatile fuzz boxes I have ever owned. The two switches add lots of variety to the already iconic big muff circuit. This makes for a pedal that can range from a hard-clipping booster to an angry beehive.

it really versatile
it has a lot of things that you can tweef to get that big muffy sound we all llove

decent
A bit too much noise from it though and the button takes a bit of getting used to (you have to push down quite hard for it to work)

fuzzy
Brings out the full potential for heavier things
Little Big Muff Wicker
Nasty little guy. Takes you in to some pretty killer over driven tones.

a
A classic Big Muff but with more versatility. I buy this for my birthday.
It's a muff alright
Does what any big muff does, makes you sound like J Mascis. Not that i'm complaining

Love this fuzz
Everyone loves Muff! Nice, warm fuzz. Easy to use and get the sound you want to craft. Loads of different sounds can be accomplished with this.

Great classic big sound
I love the massive flood of fuzz from this...although I've had to have the footswitch replaced (a common weakness on these EHX pedals apparently).

Favorite of my muffs
Same great big muff circuit with the added tone off making it a standard distortian, and wicker to push a mild soul food electric spike.
Used for the general big fuzzy sound, but also for the great sustain (w/ wicker on)

Great tone...
The most versatile Muff on the market....
a must have
Bought this as you have to have a Muff on your board particularly for playing Floyd though at bedroom volumes into a solid state amp not sure I can really use it to best advantage. Bought it with the wicker to have the tone option but don't really use it much

Jack White Wicker
I used her at concerts in the fall of 2015. wicker for me was not necessary. it is possible just to involve before her an overdrive. and shutdown of tone rather useful thing
I.FUCKING.LOVE.FUZZ!
The fest fuzz next to the OP amp. the wicker controls makes this thing come alive on and single coil, for a nice saturated and gritty fuzz

Great Fuzz Pedal
The Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker its a great fuzz pedal and you can have a BIG variety of tones with the "tone" and "wicker" switches, its a great pedal and I love EHX so much
Electro-Harmonix Big Muff PI-with Tone Wicker
I use this as my fuzzy rhythm sound, one of my must have pedals for every show I play.
