Pretty nice modeling amp for the price
This is a great amp, considering the price and all of the sounds you can get out of it. I never touched a pedal when this was my main amp. It is great for practice and for those who never really take their guitar out of the house. I recently upgraded to an old crate tube amp, as I am not starting to play more in public. This amp is really only for beginners, and or for practice purposes. Still, it is a great little amp.
Best practice amp I've ever had!
The title says it all. I could go on and on about this amp, but I will spare you the endless ramblings on sound and features. If you need an amp for at home, and you don't wanna break the bank, I highly recommend the Fender Mustang V.2
Decent small solid state amp
I bought this amp because I can't afford anything else currently and it is a fairly decent small solid state amp. I mostly use the bypass function to run my Boss ME-80 multi-effects pedalboard through and it handles that pretty well. The built in amp voicings are ok, they could be worse. The effects and delay aren't very adjustable. The volume is pretty loud for such a small amp. For the money you can't beat the value though.
I used to own those small volume mid and gain kiddie type amps. I got this amp about 2 years ago for my birthday which was perfect because my amp before this (one of the kiddie type ) blew out after having it for so long. I recommend this as more of a practice and travel amp or for someone who is tying to find what sound they like. I personally love how one can create presets from different amps and add peddles and such to the preset in the fender fuse app and then save them to the actual amp as well as remove them so you always have that perfect sound you want right at your disposal. For the price I got it ($120.00) it was definitely a major step up and shockingly cheap for what your getting. Only thing I tend to not use on the amp is the built in tuner as I (as well as many others) tend to have a tuner app on their phone anyway. Overall great first amp and definitely a good first amp to look into.
This is a great practice-amp. It has great tone, especially on al RED-LED presets. it has 24 presets ( Green led, Red Led, amber Led) U can create your own tones on it and it has a tuner build-in. this amp has never failed me and it's always a pleaure playing on it. If it would ever break down, I'd buy this again. No doubt
From Gear Setup:
Nice first amp, worst then a Spider III
Alright first and foremost, this amp as a VERY nice clean tone for a 100$ amp. It comes with a modulation and stompbox software that can also be helpful for new players trying to achiever a nice variety of sounds. The amp is also pretty decent at taking pedals up front.
However, the distorted sounds are pretty much shit, and the "low saturation" "crunchy" sound is pretty much a no factor. It is most definitely not loud enough if you end up in band practice with other entry level amps such as the Line 6 Spider series or even a Blues Junior.
Fender Mustang I V2
This is a really varied amplifier. What I usually use it for is finding the basic tone for a particular piece of music. It's perfect for writing on because there are so many completely different sounds and tone just seconds away. I bought the MI which is only 20W because I mainly use it for writing and practicing.
Great Beginner Amp and Great for Small Shows
I bought mine after the other guitarist in my band came to practice with his and I was surprised with all the amp could do. It is a great amp for someone who is starting off or is low on cash. I used the amp for band practices and to write songs at home, I now use it mainly for writing and for performances at local coffee house. The amp works great but if it is played at a volume of any higher than six a very noticeable burning smell will come from the amp and smell up the entire room. This caused my band to begin putting mics on our amps at band practice which works out well and sounds great but can be expensive.
If it were a tube amp, it would get five stars. No flaws that I can see.
Plenty of volume, and some really good tones. The on-board reverb and delay effects are fun for practicing. The gain tones aren't bad, either. Bought one for my lessons studio and have no complaints thus far. Students love it. The USB connectivity is nice, both for direct recording (demo tracks would be my recommendation) and software updates. I'm a tube lover and a tube player exclusively. If this had tubes, I would gladly give it 5 stars.
Great, cheap amp
This is a phenomenal practice amp. It accurately models many different amps and allows you to add effects through the bundled Fender Fuse. I don't recommend gigging with this amp - it's a little too small for that - but it's a great practice amp.
Cannot take pedals at all
This was my first amp and when i started i liked it. It had a ton of options and mods which at the time sounded like a great idea but after acquiring some pedals i realized the amp couldn't take them. With this being a digital amp the effects on board sounded a bit cheap and when i added even light overdrive at low/mid volume the amp begins to peak and start to get fuzzy sounding. For a bedroom guitarist who doesn't have pedals or someone on a tight budget its a fun practice amp but with any pedals other than delay this amp fall drastically short to comparable solid states by brands like Orange or Vox in the similar price range.
