Live performance of David Ryan Harris, John Mayer, Zane Carney, Rob Humphreys, & Sean Hurley, playing "Ain't no sushine when you're gone" performing at Home For The Holidays Benefit Show - Hotel Cafe - 12/15/2016. John can be seen using a Gibson ES-330 the whole video. Normally he will use a ES-335 for the performance of this song but it seems he makes an exception this time. Unfortunately there are no details on what year the guitar is built, and since there is no other video of him using an ES-330 those details are not known. The only details that can be seen from the video is that it has a so called "Vintage burst" finish with black pickups instead of the chrome variant. The guitar seems (on the video) identical to the one that can be found on the gibson site trough the following link: http://www.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/ES/Gibson-Memphis/ES-330/Specs.aspx.
more"I think I got my dream guitar. It's a '67 Gibson 330. I'm way into that instrument. I got it at Rivington Guitars in New York, just shopping around. It's a fairly new purchase, so I didn't get a chance to use it on the album. I still haven't decided if I'm going to play it live. It might be one of those things I keep to myself." -Gary Clark Jr., [Music Radar](http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/interview-gary-clark-jr-talks-blues-guitars-and-new-album-blak-and-blu-565165) Gary's gear has also been checked by Rebecca Dirks of [Tone Report](http://tonereport.com/blogs/rig-report/gary-clark-jr-reluctant-gearhead/page/two). Gary uses "D'Addario 10s or 11s, depending upon the guitar, medium Dunlop picks, and Dunlop glass slides" on this guitar for the song "Numb". Gary's tech, Dave Holman, was [interviewed by Premier Guitar](https://youtu.be/_41e0TRdmiM?t=8m56s). He says that the ES-330 was his main guitar, but has been used with a harmonica. The guitar is described as also having a much softer sound.
