if marhsall made a brownfaced bassman with british tubes and iron instead of making a tweed bassman that way ti woudla sounded like the selmer treble 'n bass model. A might british beast thatsplits the difference between plexi and fender with some hints of hiwatt to boot. Muscley clean and righteous EL34 grind. LOUD LOUD LOUD. Grounding is not superb, a problem common to many 60s brit amps. Nosiefloor isn't great but the whole amp likely needs to be gone over by a better tech than myself. love this guy. Its got a stout and manly sound. These can still be had for under $1kUSD if you're patient and don't care about good cosmetics.
