"We prefer Gibson guitars and Marshall amps. Tama drums, bla bla bla.. we do not tune down our instruments, if that is what you mean"

Jon tone is a gibson stright to a high gain Marshall. Classic and very rare in the extreme metal scene

Jon Nödtveidt used to use a Marshall TSL60, the JCM900 was used by Set Teitan.

You can see Jon using his TSL60 and Set using his JCM900 in this live video. Jon didn't use to use the JCM900, that JCM900 used to belong to Set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieVi35qv34M&feature=emb_title

All the people who wrote "JCM900 incorrect". If Jon Nodtveidt used a TSL60 in one gig DOESNT MEAN he didn't used JCM900. Marshall JCM900 was his main amp for most of his career, and this is btw the reason Seth used it in Dissection.

There's no evidence that he even used this amp. Set used it, not Jon. In his interview he only mentions Marshall amps. Nowhere he said that it's a JCM900.

This submission is incorrect and is based upon the assumptions of some random dude. Jon never said anything about playing a JCM900, and in the live videos he has been spotted with a TSL60.

I don't see JCM900 in that line.

Completely incorrect submission made by someone who kinda assumes too much instead of looking for real data about stuffs.

Finally spotted this amp in this video from 1997: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otrzYM9ldRA And in this video from 1996: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSGuY8aOfXg

From what I inferred after going through numerous footages from the timeline of 1996 to 1997 this was his amp during The Somberlain and Storm of the Light's Bane era. For his later albums he switched to the TSL60.
