not too bad

Its only one U space rack module. Virtual analog, does vocoder and arpeggio as well. It is quite cheap now. Same look as the D station and the bass (superbass) stations. Plenty of presets, Midi in / out / through. For the amount I paid for I am super happy with it.

The GO TO MIDI sequencer on iOS

Very well designed midi sequencer for iOS. Can host audio units (AU), instruments, effects. Controls your music apps on same device and triggers all your midi gear. There is an inbuilt sampler and synthesizer. Think Ableton Live on an iPad as it has clips.

great to work on ideas

Not necessarily your main instrument, probably never going to record it, but helps a lot with songwriting, working out chord progressions on the go. The main keyboard is monophonic but the machine has accompaniment on the left side. Separate control for the chords, the rhythm and the melody. It can record your melody line and play it back, not quantized. Some analog sounding drum beats named after music genres (Disco, Rock, Waltz etc) and some arpeggios. Would fit in a bag. And very cheap.

Great drums massive bass

Search youtube for MANUDIGITAL, he has plenty of songs with Reggae artists and this machine only. Battery operated (the chunky ones) , simple machine. Basic fills on the (analog) drums, a simple 4th and 8th notes with the kick and snare, but can make your beats interesting. The bass keys are on the left, very good bass tone which can not be altered. A one man band can not get any simpler than this. There is also a dark version of this -> MT-41.
