Great speaker!
People seem to hate the Celestion Seventy 80, but my experience with it proves the opposite. The Seventy 80 is a very flat speaker! My speaker cabinet reflects my amp tone(Marshall JVM) and guitar pickups(Gibson, Fender) with almost no coloration.

the lack of coloration from a celestion is what people don't like... people not only want the celestion aggressiveness and presence bump but they want the compression of the old celestions… nothing wrong with this speaker. It reminds me of a poor-man's G12K100 (an excellent speaker if you wanna dig some up, more like a bright Fane r EV sound, powerful, full... more of what you obviously like)
