Flexible Russian muff.

Had a few muffs and muff clones and this is a favourite, based on a Black Russian, but with mid boost options and the option to change clipping diodes between silicon and germanium. Does the muff thing, but extra clarity and cut from other examples I've tried. The bottom end is large without being flubby, definitely a fan of this one.

Doom!

I've never played a real Model T, so I don't know how truly 'accurate' this may or may not be, but what I know is it gives all the right vibe, it has the depth, rattle, growl, that I was looking for, somehow creates lower sub-harmonics that you didn't know were there in the first place, and all while looking super mean. The controls are very versatile between the different channel settings and the option to bridge the two channels, my version doesn't have the in-built boost, but it definitely loves having another boost in front of it to really open up the growl, so I assume the in-built boost would be great.

The title says it all, its a very good Klone, sounds spot to to any of the higher end Klones I've experienced, and comparisons with genuine Klons are essentially identical, (at least over youtube), See the JHS Show 'Can you hear it' episodes for a direct comparison,

Plus this has a low gain mode that just adds to the versatility,

Usably crazy

I have the early two footswitch version, the stallion half is good mid-high gain distortion, very usable for a wide range of applications, will also do lower gain OD sounds, very musical tone sweep, dark and bright extremes don't get too muddy or shrill. Switch on the 'teaser' side and the craziness kicks in, self-oscillation, noise generation and strangeness. Playing the dials will result in more control of what comes out than playing your guitar. A fun addition to a board, if you want a versatile distortion but then access to some weirdness, I strongly recommend one of the two footswitch versions rather than the toggle versions of later models for this reason.

Powerful and flexible

Gain range is very large, from crystal clear cleans up to full shred high gain. Smooth, but powerful midrange, lots of low end available, high end can get shrill and a little brittle at extreme ends of the dial, but keep it below 3/4 and it's sweet and glassy.
