Simply Amazing

I've wanted a Mockingbird since I was like 14. I've always liked the shape, it's aggressive and elegant. It took me nearly 15 years to finally pull the trigger, and I am absolutely ecstatic. I always thought it would be a great guitar for heavier music, but I've found the clean tone ridiculously inspiring all on its own. it's a slightly hot, but rolling the volume down a bit and it's golden. The set neck is gorgeous. I'm not a fan of big old metal plates on the backs of my guitars, so I love the set neck. Everything about this guitar is amazing. I absolutely love it. This is likely to be the guitar I pass down to my children.

It's a good one.

I friend gave it to me when he moved to a smaller apartment. It's got a built in tuner which comes in handy (when the battery isn't dead).

15 Years old, still great

Got this guitar as an Xmas gift about 15 years ago. Sounded great then, sounds great now. Lost its bridge a while back, but I bolted it back on. I've also installed a humbucker in the bridge position, which was completely unnecessary but i don't regret it haha.

not a bad guitar

I got mine for free, the actual value probably isn't any more than like $80. I'm planning on modding it, turning it into a tele, basically.

yeah, it's a pretty unique shape. I like it. it's actually pretty well constructed, too. the body is solid wood (not sure what type, but its real wood and not plywood or particle board like other cheap "entry level" guitars) and the hardware is pretty good, though it could be better. the neck is definitely unfinished maple with a rosewood finger board, which is totally great. The neck feels a lot like my Squire as far as profile and everything. What I'm most surprised about is the electronics. They're really not bad! the pots are decent, and the pick up pretty clean and clear, but a little quiet. and even though it's quiet, it's not muddy at all. That being said, it's still super super low end fabrication, so i'm definitely going to mod it out. but if you were buying this for like a teenager who's just starting to learn, it would be great!
