After Forever is a Dutch metal band renowned for blending aggressive metal with symphonic and operatic elements. Formed in the late 1990s, the group's lineup features Floor Jansen (vocals), whose operatic soprano voice became a defining feature of their sound, along with Sander Gommans and Bas Maas (guitars), Luuk van Gerven (bass), Joost van den Broek (keyboards), and Andre Borgman (drums). Their music incorporates a wide array of genres, including progressive metal, gothic metal, and symphonic metal, creating a powerful and dramatic auditory experience.
