About
Axxis is a German heavy metal band that has been electrifying audiences with their dynamic blend of power metal and heavy metal since their formation in 1988. Originating from Lünen, the group was initially known as Axis before adopting their current name due to legal reasons. The band was founded by Bernhard Weiß (vocals, guitar) and Walter Pietsch (guitar), and over the years, its lineup has evolved to include talented musicians such as Marco Wriedt (guitar), Rob Schomaker (bass), and Dirk Brand (drums). Axxis's debut album, Kingdom Of The Night, was a commercial success, establishing them as a formidable force in the metal scene. Their music is characterized by soaring vocals, intricate guitar work, and powerful rhythms.
How to Sound Like Axxis
Axxis's sound is marked by its energetic and melodic guitar riffs, often achieved through the use of Fender American Original '50s Stratocasters and Fender American Pro Stratocasters HSS Shawbucker. The bright and clear tones of these guitars complement the band's high-octane style, while the Fender Hot Rod DeVille 212 III 60W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp provides a rich, tube-driven warmth that enhances their sound's depth and power. Axxis incorporates dynamic rhythms and anthemic choruses, creating a vibrant and engaging auditory experience that resonates with fans of classic and modern metal alike.
