Bardeux is a dynamic female dance-pop duo hailing from Los Angeles, known for their infectious blend of Italo disco, Miami bass, and Hi-NRG sounds. The group originally consisted of Stacy "Acacia" Smith and Jazz, who gained significant attention with their hit "When We Kiss" from the album Bold as Love. In 1989, Melanie Taylor replaced Jazz, bringing a new energy to the band. Bardeux's music is characterized by its vibrant dance rhythms and catchy melodies, making them a standout act in the late '80s dance-pop scene.
