Colour Revolt is an indie rock band hailing from Jackson and Oxford, Mississippi, known for their emotionally charged sound that blends elements of dreamo and Mississippi indie. The group was originally formed by five college students: Jesse Coppenbarger (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jimmy Cajoleas (guitar), Sean Kirkpatrick (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Len Clark (drums, vocals), and Drew Mellon (bass), with Patrick Addison later replacing Mellon on bass. Formerly known as Fletcher, the band took inspiration for their name from Edwin Abbott's "Flatland". They gained attention for their self-titled EP and have since released albums like Plunder, Beg and Curse and The Cradle.
