CrazyEightyEight is a dynamic post-hardcore and metalcore project formed by a trio of influential artists: Lauren Babic (vocals), known for her work with Red Handed Denial; Jarrod Alonge (guitar, bass), the creative force behind comedic musical projects like Sunrise Skater Kids; and Patty Walters (guitar, bass), the frontman of pop-punk band AS IT IS. Originating as an internet-based collaboration, CrazyEightyEight blends elements of post-screamo with intense, high-energy performances, delivering a sound that is both fiercely aggressive and melodically compelling.

CrazyEightyEight's sonic landscape is characterized by its aggressive, yet melodically intricate compositions. Their music often features crunchy, distorted guitar riffs intertwined with soaring vocal lines, creating a powerful contrast that captures the raw energy of post-hardcore. The use of solid body electric guitars, like the Epiphone Les Paul Special II, ensures a heavy, resonant tone that cuts through the mix.
