Dark Polo Gang is an Italian trap collective originating from Rome, formed in 2014. Comprised of members Dark Wayne / Wayne Santana (Umberto Violo), Tony Effe (Nicolò Rapisarda), and Dark Pyrex / Prynce Pyrex (Dylan Thomas Cerulli), the group is known for its dynamic approach to the trap and Italian trap genres. The trio, who share a deep-rooted camaraderie from growing up in the same Roman districts, emerged with producer Sick Luke under the independent label Triplosette Entertainment. Their lyrics often critique modern rap and address themes of globalization, fame, and the music industry's evolving landscape.
