Dirty Loops is a Swedish trio that blends elements of jazz fusion, jazz funk, and modern funk to create a unique musical tapestry. Formed in 2008, the group includes Jonah Nilsson (vocals, keyboards), Henrik Linder (bass guitar), and Aron Mellergård (drums). Friends since childhood, Nilsson and Linder met Mellergård during their teenage years, bonding over a shared passion for music. All three members honed their craft as session musicians before uniting to form Dirty Loops, aiming to push the boundaries of pop music through complex arrangements and virtuosic performances. Their debut album, Loopified, and subsequent collaborations with icons like Quincy Jones have solidified their reputation as trailblazers in the genre.
