About

Edens Edge is an American country-pop-folk trio hailing from Arkansas, known for their harmonious blend of contemporary country and modern country rock influences. The group consists of Hannah Blaylock (lead vocals), Dean Berner (harmony vocals, guitar, Dobro), and Cherrill Green (harmony vocals, mandolin, banjo, guitar). Renowned for their bright vocal harmonies and instrumental versatility, Edens Edge gained significant attention after moving to Nashville and collaborating with veteran songwriter Kye Fleming, leading to their eventual signing with Big Machine Records.

How to Sound Like Edens Edge

To capture the sound of Edens Edge, focus on creating a warm, melodic blend that highlights both vocal harmonies and acoustic instrumentation. Their music often features rich, harmonious vocal arrangements that intertwine seamlessly with the acoustic textures of guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Utilizing tube amps can add a vintage warmth to the guitar and Dobro tones, while analog delay pedals can provide subtle depth and resonance. The incorporation of dynamic, fingerstyle playing techniques on acoustic instruments is essential for achieving their organic, country-folk vibe. Emphasizing clarity and melody in both vocal and instrumental parts will help emulate their polished, yet heartfelt sound.
