Feeling B was a pioneering force in the German punk and rock scene, emerging from the turbulent cultural landscape of East Berlin in the early 1980s. Known for their rebellious energy and raw sound, the band initially consisted of Aljoscha Rompe (vocals), Paul Landers (guitar), and Christian "Flake" Lorenz (keyboards), with Christoph Schneider (drums) joining later. Their music is a fusion of Neue Deutsche Welle, punk, and rock, characterized by a defiant spirit and a blend of gritty guitar riffs with electronic elements. Feeling B's influence is marked by their role in shaping the sound of post-wall German rock, paving the way for future acts like Rammstein.
