About
Infinite is a South Korean boy band known for their dynamic blend of K-pop, R&B, electronic, and dance-pop. Formed in 2010 by Woolim Entertainment, the group originally consisted of seven members: Sunggyu (leader, vocals), Dongwoo (rap, vocals), Woohyun (vocals), Sungyeol (vocals), L/Myungsoo (vocals, visual), Sungjong (vocals), and Hoya (rap, vocals, dance). Following Hoya's departure in 2017, Infinite continued as a six-member ensemble. Their music is characterized by high-energy performances and catchy melodies, with significant chart success in both South Korea and Japan, making them a prominent name in the K-pop genre.
How to Sound Like Infinite
Infinite's sound is marked by vibrant, high-energy pop arrangements that combine catchy electronic synth lines with rhythmic dance beats. To capture their energetic and polished sound, focus on using digital synthesizers and drum machines to create infectious hooks and pulsating rhythms. Emphasize the use of vocal harmonies and layered vocal processing to achieve the rich vocal presence that Infinite is known for. Their music often incorporates heavy use of reverb and delay effects to add depth and space, particularly to the vocals and synthesizers. Incorporating tight, syncopated dance beats will help replicate the driving force behind their tracks, while dynamic shifts in song structure keep the energy flowing and engaging.
