Iron Lung is a fierce two-piece band known for their intense blend of hardcore, powerviolence, and grindcore. Originally hailing from Reno, Nevada, and now based in Seattle, Washington, the group consists of Jensen Ward (drums and vocals) and Jon Kortland (guitar and vocals). Their music is characterized by its aggressive energy and thematic focus on human failure, often explored through unique lyrical perspectives. Iron Lung has also contributed to the music scene by founding Iron Lung Records in 2007, aiming to promote bands they admire.
