Juluka is a pioneering South African music group known for their innovative blend of world music, African rock, and afropop. Formed in the late 1970s, the band was the brainchild of Johnny Clegg, an English-born White anthropologist and musician, and Sipho Mchunu, a traditional Zulu musician. Their collaboration not only bridged cultural divides but also created a unique sound that fused Western and African musical styles. Juluka's lineup consisted of Clegg on vocals and guitar and Mchunu on guitar and other traditional instruments, with various supporting musicians contributing to their dynamic sound.
