Luna Halo is a dynamic rock band originating from Nashville, known for blending elements of rock, Christian rock, and Christian alternative rock. Formed by Nathan Barlowe (lead vocals, guitar) in 1999 after his tenure with the band Reality Check, Luna Halo has undergone several lineup changes, with Barlowe's brother, Cary Barlowe (guitar), becoming a key member. Their early work, marked by the release of the album Shimmer, established their presence in the Christian music scene, although the band eventually shifted away from strictly Christian themes to embrace a broader rock sound. This evolution was marked by their self-titled album released under American/Columbia Records, showcasing their versatility and growth.
