Lunatic Soul is an adventurous musical project spearheaded by Mariusz Duda, the renowned vocalist and multi-instrumentalist also known for his work with the Polish progressive rock band Riverside. Originating in 2008, Lunatic Soul is an exploration of genres including art rock, progressive rock, progressive metal, and crossover prog. Duda, with his visionary approach, crafts an intricate soundscape by playing almost all instruments himself, occasionally inviting guest musicians to contribute. Influences from artists like Dead Can Dance and Peter Gabriel are woven into Lunatic Soul’s tapestry, creating a unique fusion of ambient, electronic, folk, and rock elements.
