Macseal is an American indie rock band hailing from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2014, the band originally consisted of Ryan Bartlett (vocals, guitar), Cole Szilagyi (vocals, guitar), Greg Feltman (guitar), Justin Canavaciol (bass), and Francesca Impastato (drums). Known for their engaging blend of emo and math rock, Macseal crafts intricate riffs and utilizes quirky time signatures, all while maintaining an accessible, melodic core. Their journey began with a self-released debut EP in 2015, evolving through subsequent EPs that displayed increased production value and leading to their full-length album Super Enthusiast in 2019. Over time, the band transitioned to a quartet following Feltman's departure, continuing to deliver their unique sound under the 6131 Records label.
