Massilia Sound System is a pioneering French reggae group formed in Marseille in 1984, known for their vibrant fusion of reggae, ragga, and ragga hip-hop. The ensemble is fronted by charismatic MCs René Mazzarino (Papet Jali), François Ridel (Moussu Tatou), and Laurent Garibaldi (Gari Gréu), with DJ Kayalik on turntables, Janvié on keyboards, and Blù on guitar.
