Nine Lashes Members, Gear & Sound

Nine Lashes is a Christian alternative rock band originating from Birmingham, Alabama, known for their dynamic blend of genres including Christian rock, gymcore, and post-screamo. The group was formed in 2006 by guitarist Adam Jefferson and drummer Keith Cunningham, who were later joined by Adam’s younger brother Jonathan Jefferson on guitar, bassist Jared Lankford, and lead vocalist Jeremy Dunn. Cunningham eventually made way for drummer Noah Terrell, completing the lineup. Nine Lashes initially gained traction by performing alongside established Christian bands in local church venues, eventually earning a deal with Tooth & Nail Records and releasing several albums that charted on Billboard's Christian music chart.
