About

Now, Now Every Children is an indie pop band originating from Blaine, Minnesota. Initially formed as a duo in the mid-2000s, the group consists of Cacie Dalager (vocals, guitar, keys) and Bradley Hale (drums). Known for their blend of indie pop, dreamo, and Midwestern emo-pop, the band's lineup expanded with the addition of Jess Abbott (guitar) in 2009. They are celebrated for their ability to seamlessly weave together acoustic elements with synth-driven, '90s alt rock-inspired sounds. Their music journey began with the release of their debut album Cars in 2008 and continued with notable works like the Neighbors EP and their Billboard-charting album Threads.

How to Sound Like Now, Now Every Children

Now, Now Every Children's soundscape is characterized by ethereal, shimmering guitar tones that evoke a dreamy and introspective atmosphere. Their music often integrates lush, reverberant textures with a touch of distortion to create a dynamic yet cohesive aural experience. Instruments like the Fender '69 American Telecaster Thinline wielded by Cacie Dalager, coupled with the use of the Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boy for delay effects, contribute to the band's rich, layered sound. The use of pedals such as the Walrus Audio Iron Horse for distortion further accentuates their ability to balance between the introspective and the anthemic, making their music both emotionally resonant and sonically expansive.
