Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, the group consists of the three Kimmey sisters: Lisa Kimmey (vocals), Andrea Kimmey (vocals), and Danielle Kimmey (vocals). The trio gained prominence in the 1990s as one of the pioneering Christian Contemporary groups to blend soulful R&B elements with spiritual themes. Their debut album, Lovin' the Day, released under the Gotee label, marked the beginning of a successful career that resonated with both Christian and secular audiences alike.
