Pallas is a pioneering band in the Neo-Prog movement, originating from Aberdeen, Scotland. Formed in the late 1970s, their lineup solidified in 1980 with members Euan Lowson (vocals), Graeme Murray (bass, guitar, vocals), Niall Matthewson (guitar), Ronnie Brown (keyboards), and Derek Forman (drums). Known for their blend of art rock, progressive rock, progressive metal, and symphonic rock, Pallas carved a niche with their ambitious, intricate compositions. Their performance at the Reading Festival in 1983 and subsequent signing with EMI's Harvest label marked a significant milestone, leading to the release of their acclaimed album The Sentinel.
