Pearl and the Beard was an eclectic trio from Brooklyn, New York, known for their innovative blend of folk, gospel, pop, and Americana. Formed in the late 2000s, the group featured the talents of Jeremy Styles (vocals, guitar), Jocelyn Mackenzie (vocals, percussion, glockenspiel), and Emily Hope Price (vocals, cello, accordion, melodica). Their music was characterized by rich, pitch-perfect three-part harmonies and an array of acoustic instruments, drawing comparisons to artists like Andrew Bird and Beirut. Pearl and the Beard released several EPs and three full-length albums before disbanding in 2015.
