Retromorphosis is a formidable force in the realm of extreme metal, evolving from the legacy of Spawn of Possession. This technical death metal band features a lineup of seasoned musicians who have carved a niche with their intricate compositions and relentless energy. Founded by Jonas Bryssling (guitar), the group includes former Spawn of Possession members Dennis Röndum (vocals) and Erlend Caspersen (bass), joined by the virtuosic Christian Muenzner (guitar), known for his work with Obscura and Necrophagist, and KC Howard (drums), formerly of Decrepit Birth. Originating from the ashes of their previous endeavors, Retromorphosis crafts a sound that melds the ferocity of death metal with the complexity of technical precision.
