The lineup includes Mark Miller (lead vocals), Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard (keyboards), Joe Smyth (drums), Jim Scholten (bass), and Shayne Hill (guitar). Their music blends elements of country rock, classic country, and Christmas music, drawing inspiration from iconic acts like the Eagles and Merle Haggard. Sawyer Brown gained national fame after winning the televised talent competition Star Search in 1984, launching a career that would see them dominate the country charts with hits like "Step That Step" and "Some Girls Do."
