Seabear is an Icelandic indie folk collective renowned for their lush, melodic compositions and ethereal soundscapes. Originating as a solo project by Sindri Már Sigfússon in 2003, Seabear expanded into a seven-piece ensemble by 2007, featuring a talented lineup of Icelandic musicians and visual artists. Alongside Sigfússon, the band includes Gudbjörg Hlin Gudmundsdottir, Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir, Halldór Ragnarsson, Örn Ingi Ágústsson, Kjartan Bragi Bjarnason, and Sóley Stefánsdóttir. Their music seamlessly weaves elements of indie folk, Icelandic pop, and Icelandic indie, drawing listeners into a world of tender vocals and intricate harmonies.

Seabear’s sound is characterized by its gentle, acoustic textures and atmospheric layers, creating a warm and inviting sonic environment.
