About
Sir Rosevelt is an American musical group that blends elements of dance-pop, country, and electronic music. Originating as a side project from the creative mind of Zac Brown, best known for his work with the Zac Brown Band, the group explores more adventurous and pop-oriented soundscapes. The lineup includes Zac Brown (vocals, guitar), Niko Moon (vocals, guitar), and Ben Simonetti (production, drum programming). This trio came together to channel their shared fascination with EDM and pop, producing music that is both hook-laden and rhythmically engaging.
How to Sound Like Sir Rosevelt
Sir Rosevelt's sonic character is a vibrant mix of energetic beats and melodic hooks, with a sound that is polished yet lively. Their music often features clean acoustic guitar tones, which Zac Brown achieves using instruments like the Taylor 614ce and the Gibson ES-335, blended seamlessly with electronic elements. The danceable grooves are underpinned by programmed drums and electronic textures, courtesy of Ben Simonetti's production expertise. To capture their dynamic sound, a balance of organic and digital instruments is essential, often highlighted by vibrant live performances that bring their hybrid style to life. The use of a Strymon El Capistan dTape Echo provides an added layer of depth, creating a rich and immersive listening experience.
