Sky Eats Airplane is a progressive post-hardcore band originating from Fort Worth, Texas. Known for their unique blend of screamo, metalcore, and electronica, the band was initially formed in 2005 by Brack Cantrell (vocals) and Lee Duck (guitar). They self-produced their debut album, Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day, before undergoing a lineup change that saw Jerry Roush (vocals), Zack Ordway (guitar), Johno Erickson (bass), and Kenny Schick (drums) join the band. Their self-titled album, Sky Eats Airplane, released through Equal Vision Records, demonstrated their ability to merge aggressive metalcore riffs with electronic elements, earning them a spot on the Billboard 200.
