SLIFT is a French rock trio hailing from Toulouse, known for their explosive blend of space rock, psychedelic rock, and garage punk. Formed in 2016 by brothers Jean Fossat (guitar, vocals, synthesizers) and Rémi Fossat (bass), the band is completed by Canek Flores (drums). Their music initially embraced psychedelic garage rock, characterized by science fiction and space rock influences, as heard in their early works like the EP Space Is the Key. Over time, SLIFT evolved their sound into heavier, more progressive realms, incorporating elements of stoner rock and sludge metal, resulting in expansive and dynamic compositions such as those found on their acclaimed album, Ummon.

SLIFT’s sound is a swirling cosmos of aggressive, fuzz-laden riffs and cosmic synth explorations, creating a dense, immersive sonic landscape.
