Southern Sons is an Australian rock band formed in 1989, hailing from Melbourne. The group originally consisted of Jack Jones (vocals, guitar), Phil Buckle (guitar, vocals), Geoff Cain (bass), Virgil Donati (drums), and Peter Bowman (keyboards, guitar). Known for their blend of rock, pop, and AOR (Album-Oriented Rock), Southern Sons gained widespread recognition with their hit singles "Heart in Danger" and "Always and Ever".
