The 2 Bears Members, Gear & Sound

The 2 Bears is an innovative musical duo hailing from London, specializing in a vibrant blend of alternative dance and new rave. Comprised of Raf Rundell and Joe Goddard, the pair initially came together through their DJ activities at a London event organized by the Greco-Roman Soundsystem collective. Rundell, a producer and co-founder of the 1965 label, complements Goddard, also known for his work with the band Hot Chip. Their collaborative chemistry gave rise to their radio show, Follow the Bears, and eventually to their own musical creations, characterized by infectious beats and experimental sounds.

The sound of The 2 Bears is a dynamic fusion of playful rhythms and electronic textures, creating an atmosphere that is both energetic and immersive.
